Dude is unsure of the maker of the silver cab (I have a silver 01' Taco PR ext.) He says it is off an 04' taco.

He is asking $450 in the add - too much, but says he'd take $350.

The green LEER he also has is nicer but also $350....

Can't comment on the prices...but those two caps are for two different trucks. One is Gen 1 the other is Gen 2...not interchangeable.

    Stock for now
The silver looks like an A.R.E. brand because of 1/2 painted trim piece along the bottom of the shell. Funny the green is on 2GEN but looks more suited to a 1GEN tacoma or something, but not that truck. See how fits against the cab.
The price for the silver seems high imo, I think your price in the ballpark, but it depends on how many are looking. They tend to go fast in my area sub $400 shells are hard to find in good shape.
Also the hinges on the green leer look weird or maybe the picture?

Looks like both are for a 1st gen. You could clarify this with the seller. Either one is a good price IMO, compared to the $1350 I spent on mine

They have gone up too. A mid-range Leer like what I just had put on runs around $1550 now.

    yeah as I mentioned I have 1st gen 01'

The green is nicer but I'd prefer a matching color.

Also, do I need an special tools for detaching/attaching the C clamps holding on the shell? Just a regular wrench?

Both are Stock - built correct from the start.
No special tools, just a wrench if you use topper clamps. I had many trucks with toppers, some bolted on, some clamped on. Your choice.
