I am thinking about getting the Prinsu Cabrac. I am going back and forth on whether or not I want to go with it. Have any of you that have put one on thought you wish you hadn't? I know you can always take it off and sell it.

It's probably the most popular rack out there....and for a reason.

I cant take it off.. For Access Cab, you have to drill 12 holes in the roof

Thanks for the replies. I may just order it so I stop thinking about it. I like that it's aluminum and made in the USA. I think most that I have seen in pictures look cool. I am sure I would use it. My only fear is that I will like the look of my truck better before I put it on.

another option, front runner outfitters. They have about a billion options for things to bolt on, all made by them in Australia (They're Australian so I assume there)

I can see it being difficult for those without experience and/or basic socket wrenches with allen key adapters, otherwise I found it easy and I’m by no means a mechanic.

I had an AccessRac on my Tacoma and a full length roof rack on my 4Runner. I absolutely loved both. @zscott did a great job on them. I think he should make a rack for my new daily now... haha

@JerryTaco has one on his third gen I know and it seems he’s pretty happy with it.

Oh man, I’m the procrastination king, but had that thing on the first night it came! Funny thing is I had to wait until the next day to finally see how good it looked.

No regrets, had it on my 2005, now it’s in the garage waiting for the spring to go on the 3rd gen.

Have had mine on since like June and love it. Won’t ever take it off I don’t think. Stoked every time I see it on the truck and get compliments on it all the time, even had a Ford owner flag me down at Lowe’s asking about it and wishing he could get one for his truck :rofl:It’s extremely adjustable and fits the lines/look of our trucks perfect!

Same here - had mine on for almost a year now and honestly can’t imagine my truck without it. Like the truck would look bare without it - the black powder coat really stands out on my SSM imo. Functionally it has taken a beating and carries hundreds of lbs of gear all over the place and is just as solid as the day I installed it...

It's a rack. You can always tell it's there. It's not a big deal or so insanely loud though.
    No regrets.
