Lead times will vary. If you ordered bare metal it sometimes ships faster than powdercoat. Sometimes racks for the double cab are quicker than access cab and vice versa. Just depends on what I have coming from suppliers. I try to ship things our in the order they were purchased though for the most part.

ok, just now trying to make time to install mine since the awning mounts came through.

quick question so i don't have to look up it up other places: am I supposed to put the silicone in the holes, then the spacers, then wait for it to dry before I add the rack on top of that, or just bolt it all in while the silicone dries?

Bolt it one with the silcone still wet, that way as you twist the bolts in it will work into the threads and really seal things off.

That's what I figured, but didn't want people to tear me apart like they did that guy in the off road recovery thread!

WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DIDN'T WAIT FOR IT TO DRY??? YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS BEING ON TACOMA WORLD!

    It never efffing ends.....

I just squeezed a bunch of silicone in the holes as I was installing, didn't let it dry. I assumed this would allow the actual threads of the bolts to seal better too. My .02cents.

Trust me not as hard/nerve racking as a first gen

I've installed both and without a punch set the 2nd gen was a PITFA!
