I also have the procomp lift with the rear aal. I only have it halfway installed though, I can throw up some pictures when I finish it up.

To the op, try billies set at 0 and then the eibach springs on toytec. the springs give 3 inches of lift and from what ive heard they handle great and ride really smooth. just my .02. Look up JLee. That is the set up he is runnin.

Ha ha I think I am gonna go with the pro comp after hearing all these great reviews. I have heard too many issues with the billies stiffening up over time.

New to forum. Not new to mud though. Love the thread. My poor brain has been in overdrive trying to figure out what lift kit to use, but you've made up my mind with Pro Comp. Couple questions though.

-Anybody running 33's? If so are you rubbing much?
-What is a good backspacing on the rims for this kit? I'm thinking 4.5-4.8.
-How do you run 2 aal's per side? Do you just buy 4 total and put 2 on each side? I still have the crappy leafs that came with the truck. My warranty was way over when Toyota came out with the TSB.

I have an 06' with 94000 miles. I use my truck offroad alot. Nothing major just a ton of hunting. I also haul a boat and I have a topper I throw on the back every now an again. I'm just looking for something that will take that extra load good.

Welcome drake! Need wheels with 4.5" backspacing. Rubbing is hit or miss, some do others don't. Usually minor trimming though. In the rear it's one aal on each side. The aal increases arc of rear leaf springs resulting in about 2" of lift . Hope this helps

I just found this while researching the kit.

*Note: 3" of lift allows use of 33" x 12.50" tires, on wheels up to 9" with up to 4.625" of backspacing

I just want to make sure this is right before I spend 2 grand on rims and tires.

Yea thats right. It is a 6x5.5 bolt pattern. 4.5 is ideal backspacing.

    Thanks Toyo Freak.

Front Sight says he's running a second aal. I'm wondering how he did it? I'll pm him if he doesn't answer but I was thinking maybe others would want to know also.

    I run 33's

im not to sure about the 12.5 width, mine are 11.5 and they barely rub even with some trimming

Yea i would be skeptical of runnin 33x12.5s with a 3inch. There are some that are runnin 33x12.5 on 6inches (Krookz) that still have slight rubbing at full flex even with major trimming. Depends on how much you wheel it though.

How are your cv angles? With 3 full inches they have got to be between 20 and 30 degrees.
