:help:a guy posted in blacktacoma23's build thread showing the bushing in question and idk if it was a bad bushing or it was tightened to much either during or after the instal idk, but its def split straight across and its a major failure. he then posted the new urethane bushing and i figured what the hell he said it was only like 30 bucks for the pair one for each side so i thought thats cool i would go for it. the guy at ok auto told me it's not needed and unless it's going to be used for racing or something idk. i would like to know if it would transmit any harshness through the suspension that otherwise would not be there if i stuck with the stock bushing.

haha so go for it or no? did you replace your bushings yet i thought you had been kicking the idea around? do you think the urethane bushings will cause more vibrations or make for a stiffer or harsher ride?

I thought about it but decieded not to, my guess would be the bushings make it stiffer since they are urethane.

cool i just saw your build thread again lol why did you swap out your uca's? i'm ordering the light racing ones tomorrow and i was curious what you thought about them. you never really hear any feed back on uca's its always about shocks an shit. i was going to get those over the other brands because they don't require any servicing. in the north east with all the snow and stuff i thought that would be a good idea. are there any other uca's that are like the lr or are they the best ones in that style.

I got new UCA's to correct my alignment, and I think light racing is the only company that makes UCA's that are sealed.

its all ready gone man i made room for the high clearance skid. i have ran into some rather annoying problems on this install however.

fat bobs was supposed to have the lr uca's here by thursday at the latest now friday morn i have to get up in about three hours lol to f=drive two hours to have the lift installed.
now i have to have my wife meet the ups guy near the hub or out and about early in the morning to get them then she has to drive 3 hours up to me! other wise i was told they would charge me for labor if my truck was in their bay yikes!

i was going to reschedule, but now everything else is here and its eating up my entire living room and the house now smells of nitto trail grapplers so i'm gong to gamble and see if ups will give us the package with out making the first delivery attempt.

it will be great once this is all done lol. wish me luck yall.

Would having a 4 3/4 inch back space help or hurt this? It's still in the back being worked on so maybe I will have the guys do it if they have time.

ok as it looks now the lift came out to 4.5 inches! it will obviously settle in a bit, but an inch and a half i don't see happening lol. for those of you running this lift i ask you to post up your numbers if you are aware of them. and offer any feed back regarding how much i can expect the lift to settle and what the real negatives are besides torn cv boots. i will post up pictures tomorrow when i can to show yall the family truckster it looks great! rides not bad except over rough choppy sections then it hops all around and gets quite skittish i suspect this has something to do with the alignment being out of whack though.

the alignment is off big time due to the fact that the shop had difficulty working with the lr uca's they had never seen them before idk what thats all about, but they said when it settles a bit to bring it back and see if they can get it closer to spec.
they also could not instal my ss brake lines front or rear lol they said they where missing mounting clips for the rear and the factory front metal fitting got smushed at the factory.

they needed to dod the cab mount chop and they are going to box it up when i go back as well. all in all i'm just happy the big part is over and now i get to break it in a bit and ten in a couple of weeks they will button it up for me. tomorrow i will post pics of my cv angles and the truck it self as well as their alignment numbers to see if you guys can offer any advice or leave feed back.
