    3" Pro Comp suspension lift.
I've been trying to decide on a 3" lift for my '08 dbl cab. Think i'm going with the pro comp lift. Lots of good info in this thread. Now I just need to find the cheapest place to order it. Thanks all!:)

    3" Pro Comp suspension lift.
Just ordered my pro comp 3" lift. $440 total from truck addons.

I put a 6" lift on my F250 superduty a few years back. Just wondering do I need a coil/spring compressor or anything special to install this kit myself?

Have you all with the 3'' Pro Comp Suspension Lift gotten new UCA's? Or are they not needed? Because that is about $400 extra that I would like to avoid if possible. Is there anything else I need to know? I'm looking at this lift, and after reading almost through this whole thread, I realize that is a little rough ride but a good lift for the cost.

Looking to get this and 285/75/16 tires also. Anyone have good recommendations for tires for this size?

    Thanks for any help,

Ok, so if I have the rear leaf TSB, and 22'' measurements from front hubcap to fender, and 25'' measurements from rear hubcap to fender, will the Pro Comp lift level me out, or what do I need for that?...Also, just out of curiosity, just because I will be trying to sell my BFG Rugged Trails with around 3500 miles by the time I get the lift, how much can you usually sell used tires for? Mine are in condition, as said, around 3500 miles, and still like new tread.

    Thanks,

It gives a full 3" lift.. and comes with an aal for the rear.. if you already have the tsb, id say dont add the procomp leaf and you should be good. The tires, not sure man. Maybe like 350-400.

I'm getting close to 3k miles on my pro comp lift. Ride has smoothed out and I really like it. Stock UCAs as well. I went with pro comp ATs. 50,00 mile tires. Not as aggressive looking as some tires but they're quiet and ride nice yet still look "beefy". Good luck with your decision.

Honestly if your tight on money.. its the best deal. Especially If you don't plan on really turning your truck into a pre runner or expedition rig. mine handles the dunes, desert, rocks, etc perfectly fine.

To get this lift on my 2011 Tacoma dbl cab do I have to get aftermarket wheels or will my stock rims work until I decide what rims I want.

Sorry if this ? Has been asked just didn't feel like reading 28 pages!
    Thanks for the input!

Depending on the tires you want, yes you can continue to run factory rims.

Update on my lift. I put the lift on my truck at around 50k, it just turned 100k. The lift has held up fine so far. No issues what so ever. I think it was $$ well spent.
