Sup brotha are you still liking that top plate spacer and the rear 1/2 block? Thinking about a small top plate lift and something in the rear to maintain a small rake. Looking at 265/75/16 cooper st maxx’s

Yeah I love the 1/2" plate in front with the 1/2 shim in back. I've taken it on some light wheeling/camping trips and I havent noticed any difference from stock performance. Definitely recommend if you want a subtle increase from stock

Thanks, and do you know if I can go even smaller like maybe a 3/8? Also are those Nitto’s your running and what size are they?

I think I got the top plates from Wheelers, and the 1/2" shim my shop ordered for me.

Yeah you could do 3/8 if you wanted.

The tires are Nitto Ridge Grapplers in 265/75/16.

thinking about getting the wheelers 1/2 top plate and their 1” block in the rear. From what I am reading that would equal a 1” lift front and rear. I’m trying to keep the factory rake or the factory pro rake that is. Does sound right?

I ended up going super conservative. Did 3/8” top plate and the same 1/2” shim you got. Plus the extended top plate studs w/ nylock bolts. I can always stack the front and put in a full 1” block later if I want

So I recently did this to my truck as well and I have a question. After getting my alignment everything with the suspension is great, I just feel a big difference between my prior sport suspension and the pro. The steering feels a bit lighter and less planted. Is this to be expected? Is there something that I can check on it? I did a one for one replace of the front and rears, no leaf and no spacers or anything.

it might be just fine ... Have you driven or at least test driven a Pro or OR before? Did you do an alignment after the change? I have the OR and bought it over the Sport because of its “softer” ride. I also recently swapped out the stock Bilsteins for the pro fox’s and love the way it drives even more .... again feels like softer ride than the sport. I haven’t swapped out the leafs either and left my OR’s 28mm Swaybar.

I had a trd sport that I traded in for my pro and the suspension does feel way different. The pro is much more stiff due to the fox shocks. I wouldn't worry about it, the only thing I can think of is to check the alignment. Did you have a shop put the pro shocks on?
