Did you just have to tap an extra wire from the marker light harness or was it a little more complicated than that?

 

Yes you need to tap a wire, but since the LED light is a 2 wire, and you have 3 on the vehicle side, you need to use diodes to inhibit power feedback to the vehicle. You also requires a resistance on the marker lights side to dim the power down. Just give me some time this week and I will come up with something to help you out.

Mirrors arrived yesterday. Got a quick look at them. They are a great quality product from what I saw. Heavy as hell and well made. Can't wait to get them on the truck and test. Going to hook it up now with power and led turns but may wait until the end of summer to hook up heat. Anyone know what is the warranty on them? I hate to wait a few months to find out heat is not functioning.

I will write more of review as soon as they are on and functioning but from what I can see, you can't go wrong with these.

 

Damn, people are getting them already...mine didn't even ship till today. I ordered around noon the first day, oh well...

 

Just shipped today? That can't be right. When are you supposed to receive them?

 

Well, after waiting since the first GB last year...and being extremely excited to get in on this one...i came home to open my mirrors and install them.

Boxes opened revealed this:




2 broken mirrors...One mirror with shattered glass, and the second mirror has something loose and rattling inside it but no damage on the outside. These could definitely be boxed better...there is no damage to the shipping box or inside cartons...guess this one was dropped or something.

Rob...what's the next step to have these replaced...?

 

They are scheduled to be here by end of day tomorrow...

Wow that sucks and it's a 1st. No damage to the box? I'll get in touch with you tomorrow about a replacement set.

 

No damage at all..there are a couple tears in the outside shipping box...but they are small. No dents either.

 

Sorry about the delay. I placed the order for you right away so I dont know why it took them till today to get them out. I hope they are not broken either. I have shipped these to Canada, Alaska and even overseas. It's a 1st to have them broken opening the box.

 

OK no worries. I'll get you another set right away. Please just put them back in the box. I am going to have them picked up so that I can send them back to the manufacturer.
