Ok so we are going to do a second GB for our Tacoma towing mirrors. Our 1st one was a great success.

The ProEFX mirrors are designed to bolt right on to the 2nd gen Toyota Tacoma. We produce 4 different configurations to fit anybody's needs. Black textured manual, power, pwr w/heat & LED and chrome power w/heat & LED. For the '12s & up the LED's plug right in and they can be wired on any of the '05-'11's. The heat is a option that will require wiring for any year. The directions are included but some parts will be needed. They all fold in towards the body and are sold in pairs.

I'm ready to buy, but I do have a question regarding the LED and heaters. Are they plug and play? I mean are the Tacoma doors prewired for these add-ons? I have a TRD Offroad 4x4. It doesn't have the LED mirror turn signal or heat. So if I where to get it would it be just finding the right harness and plugging it in?

I'll be calling today to place my order.

 

On '12 and up the wires for the LED's are already in the door and you just plug them in. If your '12 + truck did not come with the factory LED turn mirrors you may need to add a relay in the fuse box. For the 05-11's you will need to run the wires though and follow the directions provided. For any year the heat was never an option in the Tacoma's so you will need to run and wire for them. For the heated/LED mirrors there are 3 separate plug ins so if you do not want to wire the heat or turns you can just leave them un plugged.

 

I managed to get my blinkers to act as both marker lights and turn signal lights. I have a 09 Tacoma. The instructions provided will show you what wires to look for in your vehicle. I will post more infos on this later tonight or this week.

 

Did you hook up heat too? If so, please will post info on that as well? Thanks.

I still haven't got to it yet... Ahahah but this is something pretty simple to do as well. The mirrors installation instructions contain a link to a separate thread on how to hook up the heat.

Start at step 4, since the new mirrors are already heated. For the parts required, only the remaining electrical components are required (switch, relay, terminals...)
