I'm looking forward to really using these for the first time this weekend. We are taking out our trailer and finally, I'll be able to see beside it!

Found mine sitting in the garage when I got home this evening. Now I need to find the time to install them and order the heater components.

There is a fuse or relay that the trucks with the factory turn signal mirror has that is missing on your trucks that did not come with it from the factory. I will swing by the dealership sometime this coming week and shoot a couple of pics of both fuse panels. Hopefully you guys will be able to see what one is missing from your trucks. Hope this helps.

Well I have not been on site in a while and missed out on this group buy. Is there another group buy planned or where can I get/purchase these mirrors?

The OP's (mach1man001) company stocks them regularly IIRC. Drop him a PM. If you're towing, these mirrors are definitely worth the investment. IMHO :)

He is a little sneak peak before my camping trip next weekend. Got the mirrors friday before memorial day had em on the next day. Had one little question i think i relayed the turn signal to my rear brakes bc everytime i hit the brakes they come on. They work with hazards, individual left and right signal but anyways heres the pic and more to come with my tow of my 20ft camper again this weekend!!!

Mine do the same thing! Have not had the opportunity to troubleshoot. I'm suspecting I got the wrong wires attached! But unsure. Post if you fix yours please!

I have one issue with the mirrors & want to know if I'm the only one.

The drivers side mirror is perfect. The passenger side is magnified!

It's unnerving when I pass someone on the highway & it looks as if they are right on top of me when I check the passenger mirror & want to merge back into the right lane. My windshield rear view mirror says otherwise & they are clearly two to three car lengths away!

Typically objects in this mirror are "closer than they appear" but mine is reversed! They are farther away than they appear!

This cannot be "normal" & was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this?

    Otherwise these mirrors are great!

Sounds like you guys hooked them up to the wires from the towing harness. Ask me how I know . Sorry about that. Anyway some trucks do have some different colors wires and we are revising the directions. If you have a test light just go in and check for the blinkers at the conectors then tap into those wires.

That is the 1st I have heard it described that way. The mirrors are not convex so they do not have the "closer than they appear" feature that most people are used to. Might just be that they are flat mirrors and you are not used to it? The bubble in the corner is to be used to check your blind spots. Might just take a little time to get used to them. Hope this helps.

Appreciate your reply. I fully understand about the "bubble" mirror, but that is not what I am referring to. The "main" mirror is definitely magnifying the reflection. Not sure why or how, (again, only on the right mirror. The left mirror is correct). I'm primarily basing my observation of the right mirror compared to the left one

I'm hoping that anyone else who reads this thread is experiencing the same thing. I have been driving for almost 40 years through many vehicles & I've never experienced this before!

If possible, i'll take pictures, although I will have to stage it to do it safely.

It could be that I'm not used to it if they are expected to be unlike "standard" mirrors.

    Terry

my right one is magnified compared to my stock mirror. I just thought that is was just how they were made. The fish eye mirror actually shows me more that I expected and I look at it more than the main part of the mirror on the right. Just my 2 cents
