12 bolts. The eights would be fine for the weight of our trucks, but I'm pretty hard on stuff and went with 12's. Just to update my build, got some new BFG Baja's too, also from TWF-

Wife blew up the motor, sold it, and bought her this. (we installed the lift, I built the sliders, tuner motor 450HP, built trans, etc.)

I do miss having a 22RE around though...

I don't have them, but I will probably get a set when I am ready to step up to 37's. Username has the 12 bolt ones and I will probably get them as well.

About 30 mins with an impact. About 31-32 days with hand tools:D. Those lock nuts are a bitch.

I don't know about you, but I had problems stripping out the studs when using an impact. There is so much force on an assembled wheel I had to loosen them by hand, a few turns at a time, to relieve pressure. Otherwise, they would strip out, even loosening in a star pattern. It took me two days to swap tires by hand. To make it extra fun, when I assembled them years ago I did so on fresh paint. The beads were frozen on. Tried a hilift between the halves, Hi-lift off my truck (would just lift the truck), sledge hammer, crowbar, spoons, etc. I finally grabbed a set of bead breakers off my bike in desperation and they came right apart.

Never had a problem with the H1's and an impact. They've had three sets of tires on them with no problems so far. Motion Pro makes some damn nice tools. Never seen those though. May have to get a set.

Thanks man. I forgot some things too. Like how I got tired of rebuilding 4wd actuators and just converted the Tcase to manual shift using a boat shifter. Or the 2LO mod. Or my ammo can intake. Or the LED light bar and a bunch of other crap I've done to it but forget to update. Maybe I should one of these days.
