Are they the slip on style or bolt on? Haven't been able to find a bolt on style less then .75 inch thick.

Slip on. With the longer arp studs it's not a problem.

Some pics from hunting season. Ten days in the woods, and a couple thousand miles of dirt/gravel roads. The bedsides rattled a couple bolts loose but other than that she's as good as ever.

Sore feet. Archery hunting is the single most frustrating thing I have ever done. Had four different bull Elk under twenty yards, with no shot. I could have tagged out with a rifle opening weekend, but that's what keeps drawing me back to wasting vacation time on it. Saw hundreds of elk, deer, and antelope though and spent some quality time in 4lo so it's not all a loss. :D

I'm excited to be headed up to Eastern Oregon on Friday for Deer season, drew a tag for Keating Unit. Will be nice to get out of Socal for a week and hunt. Where did you hunt at?

I do archery too. Crossbow, but still archery. My children are able to participate with crossbow. Youngest daughter (6 year old) took down a buck last year.

The last one got so wadded up it wasn't doing any good. The two before that got ripped loose (despite welding them on in addition to bolting) I have some ideas for a new one but am having a tough time sourcing UHMW locally. Might have to order some on the webz from somewhere and get it done before winter.

Mostly Murderers creek unit near Seneca, Or. Saw lots of California plates in the woods, gave them all the finger. :D

I don't know yet, but my theory is that the reason mine have previously got destroyed so bad is high speed and friction. The UHMW should absorb impact and slide a little better. I plan on doing a chromoly chassis for it with replaceable parts, but I just haven't had time or UHMW to dick with it.

I remember someone mentioned it before. Probably you. Looked into it. Looked promising. Then it came to money./... yeah, I have none of that right now.
