I think this is the first time I have only had one cracked. In the past, it's always been 2 or more. And yes, it sucks.

Report on the Donaldson Air filter:

Best silica level I have gotten with the OEM filter was 11 ppm. Best ever on an OEM filter was 10 ppm (Toyota). This test was done during one of the driest times on record out here. 0" rain, and the best days had "marginal" air quality. Now.......In the past, when I ran a K&N filter, Blackstone actually sent me a note back asking if I was even running a filter at all, as the silica levels were so high. A "7 Layer" gauze filter was only marginally better (TRD, and AIrAid). AFE filter had a ppm in the hundreds (Cant remember if it was 200+ or 300+), the Donaldson filter came back at 9 ppm. 9PPM! Better then OEM, and flows better! Now, its not cleanable, but you can remove it, tap the crap out of it, and run it longer. There is a test truck out there with 150,000 miles on the same filter, and it still flows within specs. Donaldson says its good for 100,000 miles, and given my experience with them, I have no doubts. IN construction applications, that called for a 250 hour change of primary filter (And trust me, out here you change them sooner), a Donaldson filter lasted 2560 hours before failure. Yes....I ran it until it collapsed. The CAT filter I tested before that went 289 hours until the engine tried to suck it into itself. Anyone considering, or that has, and aftermarket intake, and if you want to keep your truck for a while, and off road, or live in a place with dust, THIS is the filter to run.

Might need an aftermarket intake to use it. Give Andy at GotExhaust a call and talk to him.

I don't have the money for that

Well......I've already been in the rocks, and took a pretty hard hit I'm the center when I dropped off a 3 foot vertical. The main skid pushed in about 1/8" at most. right now, I don't think I'm beating them hard enough to justify replacement, and they seem to be doing very well in the hits that I've given them

Evidently, when I ordered my jeep, I check a skid plate package that's not mentioned or something. aside from the Rubicon sliders and other skid plate, I have a skid plate for the EVAP canister as well as everything else exposed underneath the vehicle.the only thing I don't have a skid plate for is the drive shaft and some parts of the exhaust. It's surprisingly well protected.

I will when I get a chance. The 10a jeeps may have the same coverage. Haven't seen the underside yet.

all I know is, there's a lot of guys online that are bitching about not having a skid plate for the EVAP canister, and only having small protection for the fuel tank. I poked my head under my Jeep, & I find a skid plate on the EVAP canister, and another skid plate that starts behind the front tires, and goes all the way to the back covering the entire fuell tank

and the rock sliders that come from the factory very easily support the entire weight of the Jeep

given the jeeps that I have seen online that have burned down, I think the fire resistance is low. However, I have not tested this
Not sure. She's under the weather today.
