Yeah not good  The Teraflex 4-1 I put on mine can't be ran over 5 mph or higher than 2500 rpms or it'll grenade (not covered by warranty either)

Oh and here's the lift kit you should get, clears 38s!

LOL!! I don't want a huge lift. Most I would like is 2". MIL needs to be able to get in, and I don't want a high center of gravity.

Minor details; carry a 4 foot step ladder and go with maximum offset rims and 3 inch billet wheel spacers

That's impressive, but not practical for the terrain out here.

Largest tire Im gonna run, is a 285/70/17. Those will fit stock, so the only thing I need a lift for, is better departure angle, and break over angle.

Do you have an idea yet for a lift height?

Seen them 44's snap like twigs on the trail on more then one occasion on different trails. But those rigs were on 35's and 37's

That's what I read. 8.9" ring gear, vs. 8.5" (IIRC) for the standard D44. Checking the literature on different sites, they simply seem to label it as "Non Rubicon" D44, and "Rubicon D44", or the like. Regardless, its plenty strong for 33's. Seems guys are running 35's up to 37's without issues on the new axels.
