Proper diff oil for TRD off road.

I am looking to replace the rear diff oil on my taco. a 2013 TRD off road 4x4.

I assume a GL5 diff fluid

$28 75w-90 Synthetic Gear Lube - 1 Quart (Pack of 2)

75w-90 will work just fine. LSD additives are not necessary but wont hurt if the fluid has it right? Also synthetic is ok?

 

Look in your owners manual - it will tell you exactly what type to use.

Yes, you can use synthetic (most folks do) and Yes, you can use LSD related fluids.
Your truck does not have a mechanical LSD which would require friction modifiers.

Yep just use a reputable brand in the correct weight/viscosity and you should be good. I don't think you can buy Mobil 1 that doesn't have friction modifier in it, it wont hurt a regular diff.
