They scared me off when I saw some of their products on someone else's truck and they did NOT hold up to work.

They've redesigned since then, so maybe they're different now. But I wasn't impressed.

yea says they are new, so im hoping they are decent. the price is great though if they are any good. cbi on sale is decent price, demello is a little high. i dont do any serious wheeling (yet) and probably wont but i would rather have something on the truck and be safe rather than sorry.

These two, or Schrockworks, or Relentless...none of those will do you wrong.

I have been struggling with the idea of drilling the frame. Violates the warranty on a vehicle w/ a history of frame rust.
Are some of the bolt-on versions less invasive than others? Or do they all pretty much utilize the existing holes as best as possible & you're just stuck w/ drilling the remainder..?

Weld on if you intend to actually use them.

ok so all pros are no good? and does relentless fab make a bolt on version? and another good question was asked above... does drilling the frame void the frame warranty?

I dont work for Toyota, but I'd be willing to bet they would consider additional holes in the frame as an easy way to decline any frame warranty issues. W/ that said, I still plan to grab the CBI bolt-ons.

They all try to use existing holes. Most of the holes you would have to drill into the frame are on the bottom side of the frame as there are no holes there to utilize

Weld on or bolt on - either way you're gonna be hosed 8 years down the line if you have rust issues and you're knocking on the dealer's door.

If your primary concern is preserving your factory rust warranty - don't install sliders.

I have Shrockworks bolt-on sliders and can say that these things are not weak at all.

bjmoose, if your concerned about rust issues, why not undercoat?
