Changed the rear diff oil, very easy to do! Put in 3 quarts of 75w-90 valvolene non synthetic was used and I'll start changing it yearly instead of every 30k

Should I be worried about that small circle of metal stuck to the magnet? Cleaned off the normal looking metal from the magnet.

just a heads up on the front diff and transfer case...get a hand pump to get the gear oil to where it needs to go! And you gotta take off the skid plate in front and you're good to go

Yeah I have the pump to make the job easier, I'm dreading taking off the front all pro IFS skid though!! What pump do you have? I bought one that only pumps one ounce per pump which seems like a slow going re fill

That's what I figured, better than getting gear oil all over the place though!!

Thanks for the heads up, I'll be doing the front diff and transfer case next weekend, it was a day full of Tacoma mods and general maintenance for me today

so are you filling a gallon jug with the gear oil to use the pump? i accidently bought a pump that will only fit gallon jugs, not quart sized bottles as well.

i wouldnt want to kick these over, gear oil is pretty stinky stuff. Although i dont mind the smell of it

yes that was my stupid mistake of the day yesterday...I bought the gallon jug of gear oil but found out that only the hand pump fits on the quart and smaller size necks. I ended up having to dump the gear oil into a "clean" and empty water bottle and pump, not very effectively the gear oil from the dinky ass water bottle into the transfer case and front diff. Yes I was too cheap and pissed to go to the store to buy a proper sized quart bottle of gear oil so the pump would fit correctly. I learned my lesson.

I figured that's why you saved it. I like the LEDs too. Where would you mount the level thing?

In the cab somewhere as center as possible, gramps has one in his cab so I have a request into him for photos of his mount. It also has 3M mounting tape on the back so I can stick it on almost any surface.

When should I expect shipment of it? :)

    Mounted the mic

Mounted the mag lite, ended up putting a bolt through with a washer and nut on the inside. More sturdy

Haven't figured out where I want the Lev-O-Gage just yet. Soon I'll mount it so I know incline and decline angles, a second one will go on the center dash

Yesterday I changed the transfer case and fron diff oil. Easy to do once I got the AllPro IFS skid off.
