Hey guys, I ordered this kit for one of my customers and had the part to me in 3 days. Normally takes me 3-5 to get these and up to 5 days shipping to get to you depending how far away from Iowa you are. As of now there are 266 kits left! Its time to pull the trigger. https://parts.toyotadm.com/oem-parts/toyota-trdpro-susp-kit-taco-ptr1335150 I'm selling on my site for $587.86 + shipping let me know if I can help!

Ultimately my plan is to install the fronts as Toyota intended and measure. I will then figure out the rest from there. I have also ordered the 1/4" spacer which isn't actually needed as they ship, but I figured if that doesn't get me where I want to be I can either get the 1" spring perch, or just different leafs. I'd hate to take a hit on unused leafs, but if they are too much for me, i'll do what I gotta do. If I can get 1-1.5" i'd be happy. If I decide I want more, I will sell the fronts.

I've wasted dumber money on dumber things before lol.

    I hear ya there.

I’ve read about some folks removing the 3rd leaf on the Dakar’s to soften up the ride. I would think this would also result in less lift, so that may be an option for you too.

It’s mentioned in the description of the Dakar’s on wheelers site.

Ordered! Thanks! Much cheaper shipping thru you than OEMPW ($16 vs 46).

    Too much.
Wonder how long this sale will go on for. In for pics. Also, how long does it generally take per corner to swap out?

Anyone get these on a 3rd Gen yet? Would be interested in the lift results for the front end.

For the rears, maybe 10 minutes each. Since the fronts come as complete assemblies, probably about 30 minutes each.

Assuming you don't have rust to deal with.

I'm going to weigh in here.
Personally, I have the BP-51s and Dakar rear springs. It's a phenomenal setup and no comparison to the TRD Pro, but also, big $$$$.
Had I been able to get the complete TRD Pro for $600 plus the cost of a set of Dakars, I probably would have done it.
$600 is a great deal if you are getting all four corners.
As far as 3rd vs 2nd gen, the suspensions are identical, the geometry should be identical, and the weight is close enough that there should be no issue in running these on a 3rd.
Buy the suspension that meets you needs and enjoy it!

Are there any other parts required for the install beyond what's in the kit? How about instructions for the mechanic in terms of where the reservoirs mount and which shock goes on which side ... I want to drop everything off and make the install go as quickly and painlessly as possible. Thanks guys.
