I'm only looking for about a half inch lift over stock. My problem is these are one setting. If I don't like where they sit, I'm screwed!

I'm very interested to see what you end up with. I'd love to see before / after measurements and photos. I think this might be the mild OEM quality lift a lot of members will be after. Granted, I have $0 budget for this right now, and by the time I don't have $0 budget, they will have corrected the price mistake.

TRD engineered the suspension front and rear to have more travel, which isn't the same as lift. The Baja or Pro TRD kit was engineered for highspeed desert where more droop is beneficial.

Specs are difficult to find, but these TRD's are extended length, therefore more droop, hence the rear brakeline extender included in the kit. And to get full benefit of the extended length front shocks, you'd need aftermarket UCA's.

No idea how these TRD's compare to off the shelf 6112's or 5160's, but TRD's were designed to get extra travel.

I doubt it is a mistake - probably going to be this price until the liquidate all their stock.

There was a huge discussion about these on a Tacoma Facebook group and many people started telling each other that the fronts were regular 6112s with Toyota stickers on them. Many people showed receipts that they ordered them online from various dealer parts departments.

... A lot of people are going to be mad next week when they pull them out of the box and find 2 ring seats on the bodies....

Not as mad as they are going to be when they throw them on their 3rd gen and get no lift...maybe even more rake than before

People are saying it's a 1.75 inch lift from a base model second gen, which I believe it's not, so they might get 0.75 inches. My problem is that it's a fixed lift, no adjustment

there's these spring perch spacers that you can use for some lift then.

188 dollars gets you within 30-100 dollars of real 6112 and 5160 from RCA, depending on how much you pay for the pro kit. Then you are stuck with only 2 adjustable locations instead of 5

I'm curious on the lift these have or don't have. Hopefully someone gets it installed and measured before they're all sold out.

Just called my local Toyota dealer and while they didn't have them in stock the price in the system is $684 and they ordered a set for me, due in tomorrow. Combined with their 10% off coupon from online stoked to get the lady's truck looking a bit less hoopty. The Pelfrey aluminum bumper and Smittybilt have started to drag the front down a touchl

Long story short: Call your local dealer and see if they can get 'em for you.

Damn that's a good deal. Still curious on what lift it gives or doesn't give on a 3rd gen though.

So does this indicate that the OEM TRD Pro upgrade suspension would be the same? Or are we confident it's 1.75"?
