This has been my line of thought the whole time.

Not trying to say anyone is right or wrong, vendor or not. Just seems logical.

So the biggest worry is maybe having to buy a set of extended Bilsteins for the rear?

My order just shipped from Evans Toyota...ordered 2/2/18. Not the fastest from them for those looking there.

The TRD Pro rears in this kit have an extended length of 24"1/8 . I didn't measure the collapsed length.

As they say: “in God we trust, all others bring data.” I’m even more cautious, I don’t even trust in God, he/she is slacking on the data feed... but enough of that.

I’m sure there are some specifics in how to measure that @HeadStrong Off-Road may know better than us, but it’s looking like we may be in a similar length to OME and stock 5160’s. If it’s the compressed length that is an issue, it can probably be mitigated with larger bump stops. Extended, I can’t help but think as long as we have 23.5” to match the Nitrochargers we should be good with AAL or Dakars. Hopefully HS chimes in to educate us on what we’re missing.

Got mine today. I have next week off, so I'm hoping to get them installed then and be able to provide hard numbers for the 4-banger crowd.

Will there be any need to mess with the sway bar when installing these?

Shouldn't be they bolt right in. There is the factory install notes somewhere in here and there isn't anything crazy going on.

I disconnected the sway bar linkage when I did the driver side and it felt unnecessary and was tricky to bolt back into place. I did the passenger side without disconnecting and didn't have any problems with install.

I believe you still have to unbolt the steering knuckle on each side?

Figure this has been asked, but here goes again.

I have about 120lbs of winch and bumper up front currently, with 5100's set at 1.75".

Would this Pro setup handle this better? I'm assuming with the higher spring rate at 600 it will, but what y'all think? I dont even care if the lift settles back down to standard ride height at this point, just sick of my miniature dump truck :bikewhoops:

Yes, unbolt control arm from steering knuckle, loosen the eccentrics and remove the strut bolt to the control arm and the three nuts from the top control arm and pivot the control arm down and pull the assembly out the bottom

Do you have to loosen the eccentrics?I did this on an 03 but cant remember.Would a long bar be able to push the control arm down then jack it back up.

Believe i did on my 2013,when i did my 5100's. But i also disassembled old shock/spring using a jack, while leaving them attached. Did it all with hand tools in the driveway, wasnt that hard. These should be much easier, being assembled.
