I'm pretty sure the dimples in the shock body covers for the front coilovers were present on mine out of the box. I don't know if I have the patience to get them out.

On a separate note does anyone plan to have these installed by a professional shop or know of what that may cost? I'm guessing it would be $600+.

My dealer quoted me at $500. Not sure I'll go that route but it's an option. I just haven't scoped out any other installers yet. I don't know what a fair price would be.

I was BO with them but they showed up a couple of days later, right now they are in North Dakota on a Fedex truck. The guy I was dealing with was Jim and he seemed good.

I would think the price would be around 500 for this type of install, taking the old ones out and putting new ones in, an aftermarket shop may charge less, but I wouldn't think it would be anything cheaper than 300. I will just be doing it this weekend most likely in my garage. Then I don't have to worry about anybody messing anything up, I can get my hands a little dirty and I can see how everything is installed and take pictures for you guys.

I was like you and went to my local dealer. Told him that I could get for $550 online a couple weeks ago. He said at that price he was only making $10 on it...but he did do it. guess he figured it was a discontinued part and why not. With tax I ended up paying 579 and he said should be here my Monday.

I'd try putting in the rear shocks and see how that goes for you, if you still have most of your hair then try the fronts. It should only be 2 hours shop time to install the fronts, at most. Thats with a coffee break included.

Awesome price, wonder how much that is shipped, everywhere else was around 60 bucks so your getting them for around 592 if you needed them shipped. Since your local and don't need them shipped that is an amazing price, I would jump on that in a second!

I was quoted $180 for installation and alignment. With air tools and a lift, a pro suspension shop should be able to get them in pretty damn quick.

Don’t know where you’re finding that deal in Canada but that’s good for a suspension install.

That's amazing. Just an alignment would cost half that.

Well North Dakota is pretty much southern Canada so maybe I'll just make a trip to have it done at that price. :canada:

I'm actually getting it all done in Washington state. I couldn't get the kit into Canada. The $180 is USD and I expect the brake line spacers and reservoirs will add a little bit to that.

Thing is if you lift the rear, you lose the extra 2" droop the shocks provide compared to stock. Just keep the airbags. I think aftermarket UCA's are a good idea when you install to get the full articulation the front shocks have. An hour extra labor (and $400) you're looking pretty.

I bet they show up, I called them yesterday and they said 5-10 business days to the door, once they get them from the main warehouse they ship them out FedEx Residential Delivery.

I had dimples too......Tip - with a micro long needle or reg needle nose pliers, gently pull on one side of the dimple and it will come out easy. Try not to crease the boot, hair dryer works if you do, softens up the rubber.
