I’m waiting for the suspension to come in, I went through rogue off-road which is a bit more but I have the satisfaction of knowing my order will come in and free shipping. Try your local Toyota dealer. I’m looking to fit 33x12.5 on method 17 nvs but I’m also going to be doing the cab mount chop. In my experience with lifting vehicles you can fit most tires it just depends on what you’re willing to cut up or remove;):sawzall:

I’m leaning more heavily towards holding off on replacing the bushing. I likely see how Toyota handles it should I have an issue in the foreseeable future.

Yeah I don't know about cutting up my truck quite yet. Plus I don't even know who to go to for the cab mount chop mod and how much that typically runs.
My first vehicle when 16yrs old was a 4x4 Isuzu rodeo and I literally used a hammer to make room for bigger tires. Oh how dumb I was back then.

Oh yeah man I totally understand, took me a moment to decide that but it looks factory and doesn’t void anything, Or salavage your truck. There’s a shop here in central California where I’m from that’ll do it for about $150, cut, and welded in a new piece and painted.

Your truck looks good. I am also upgrading from a SR suspension just haven't had the time to install it yet. How do you like it?

Going to install mine on Monday. Access Cab TRD Offroad. Not going to put the AAL in right away although I have one sitting around. I need to find a good flat spot for before and after measurements and photos though. Will report back.

Thanks! I'm liking it very much so far. Far softer over potholes and speed-bumps than the stock Hitachi ones. Feels very well planted too, dosen't roll around corners or dive on braking.

Picture of front TRD shock with 1" spring perch spacer (rogue-offroad) that I came across online. Guy stated he used that along with a 1/4" top spacer to get 3" lift with the setup.

Finally edited my video I focused more on the AAL since that's the hardest part of the entire install and battery died in some spots.

Thanks for vid Rob. How much do you think the camper shell weighs...I ask because I am trying to decide whether or not to use OL leaf? I have no shell and don't really haul anything. Wondering with the OL will it make my rake more than I want...don't mind small rake but not really looking for 2 inches...level or 1/2 inch rake or so would be OK.

I hope it helps especially the AAL. I didn't find any vids showing the Taco struggle of putting them on and most guys I've talked to who have done it agreed it sucked. lol

My shell weighs around 200 lbs. On the stock leafs it lowered the rear to level of the front.

Under your conditions you could omit the OL and it would remove 1/2 inch there.

I think a single AAL without OL may be something you may look into. That's 1-1 1/2 lift.

looks like you typed in the quote field.

i noticed driver's side is about 1.75 now but filled the tank up. I'm going to see how it is at 1/2 tank of gas.
