Certainly more tire options with a 17” wheel. I’ll be switching soon too.

I’m on the fence between the TRD 4Runner Pros (like everyone else) due to they’re availability, price, and the moderate but not overly aggressive offset or some black SCS SR8s.

Rogue-Offroad posted these kits on FB. I asked about how much lift a 16+ would get and he said 1.5-1.75. I dont want much lift, but if these get me at least 1in I am in.

I am placing the order. I talked to the dealer I am buying it from just to check on availability and he said it would be around a week before it ships. He said he has got about 10-15 orders for these.

You have to remember you get extended length shocks with the TRD kit. That may not be important to you if all you care about is lift.

Adjustability, 6112's are adjustable, but you have to redo a lot of work to readjust the snap rings.

I'm looking for a better ride in the rear. I'm all stock and plan to stay that way, but some of these washboard roads and potholes are crazy. Hitting them with the front end isn't that bad, but the rear sucks. Any suggestions? Would 5160's or something else help w/this and the ride?

5160's should help you with that. It's not gonna make your general ride smoother though...may actually feel stiffer, but would help a ton on washboard roads.

Just got mine in today. Last time I bought coilovers was for my little MR2 - these things are HUGE. I probably won't be installing them. Might sell them; might store them in the vortex of my parents basement.

Yes there are only 2 ride height settings.

I got this kit for my 2015 DCSB 4x4 and got 2" of lift on the front. Rides really nice, better than OME sports with 884 coils IMO

I don't quite get what people mean when they say rides nice. The 3rd Gen TRD OR rides very nice I think. Plush and smooth. What does nice mean to you?

People were wondering if the "deal" was real; so I bought them to see if it in fact was. My truck has 11k miles on it. I just can't justify cracking the factory nuts on such a new jewel. First new car and all.

Ironic I know, since I took a Dremel cutter to the bumper cover for my SSO steel bumper months after purchase...but that was to bulldoze hobos.

Looks like the reservoir lines aren’t steel braided like the 5160’s. I feel like people want these because they are red and say trd.
