    Lots baby!
That should not throw balance off. I am going to assume you lined the pulley up with the key, before pushing it on?

Yes i did line it up. If I didn't would that throw the balance off. And how do you know when the key is lined up will the pulley stay put or will it move.

I am not sure if it is possible to push the key out of the slot. My guess is, it is not possible.

It could be that your engine needs the harmonic balancer to keep it in check. I have heard of one other incident along these lines.

    Can you post some pics?

No external balancer for the 1GR....

If you lined it up with the key notch just right the pulley should of slipped right on. It can not seat all the way on the crank if it aint lined up. Make sure it's flushed. And did you use a torque wrench? Don't think you could of over torqued it, but never no.

If none of this works, call Mike at NST. Maybe you got an unlucky pick of the liter...

I did not have the key aligned on the pulley. was able to get it aligned. Throttle response is a lot quicker.

    Thanks all for the help.

I had a hella of a time getting my crank pulley out also. Thought about taking it to the shop but I tried adding a pipe to the breaker bar and some more huevos and finally got it off.

These pulleys are great, I heard that they are going to make some other replacements anyone else hear this?

They now have the Alternator, and Water pump pulley. And soon to come Power steering pulley; but this will just be for matching (Cosmetic)...

And if you are SC, they have a pulley for that that adds 2psi to your blower:D

So the 1GR does not have a harmonic balancer? So you can put on this pulley and not worry about it?
