pulling a/c vents, stereo help...

    hey guys... i've been searching around and can't seem to find what i'm looking for. i know i've seen it somewhere here before. i'm trying to pull the dash piece that has the two center a/c vents in it. its the piece that goes behind the HU... anyone know where the diagram is on that??? thanks!

    well shit... according to that its 10 clips that hold it in place once the HU has been removed... must be some dang strong clips... i yanked the heck outta that thing and it didnt budge...

    yea, its just those yellow clips that hold the other dash pieces together...but they are hard to get out. if you break it, i do have a replacement i'll let go for $45 though, so pull away!!

    also note, from what i recall, you have to remove the side trim pieces on the left (the cluster surround and piece below) as those overlap the surround on the left side...make sense?

    just doubled checked the surrounds i have, you do need to remove the trim to the left of the surround as there is a lip the entire length of the piece.
