    Anyone know how much of a drop it is when you pull a leaf spring out on the 2nd gen tacoma 5 lugs?...thanks in advance

    not 100% but I'm about to pull a leaf on my 1st gen taco and was told it would be 3" and with my 3" block it will give me a total of 6" but I'm also notching the frame.

    Ok I'm not to sure about 3" on the second gen but if 3" or maybe even 2" that be great jus the drop I'm looking for and yeah I got a 2013 extra cab taco sitting on 19" with djm control arms/1" spindle spacer and 5" beefed blocks on the rear replacing the spacer with xii performance drop coils (1.7") next week along with notching the frame/putting exhaust

    You guys are SUA , so your leafs have more ARC than SOA, maybe try a 2nd gen SOA leafpack, it's probably doable if spring length is roughly the same, if it does meet the spring parameters you'd probably drop about 3" but would benefit from still having some suspension, IDK ,Just throwing it out there..

    this is true and 1st gen trucks do this, Could be true on 2nd gen trucks, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

    it is listed on the types of lowering on the sticky.

    Im guessing its 2/3" of drop. I took out one from my 4x4 pack and am hitting frame, all I added was a 1" drop block.
