I'm a big Halloween fan, so I do alot of pumpkin carving. Since my friends and family always ask to see them and sending multiple pics is a pain in the butt, I finally started making videos of them.

I just finished this years, so I figured I'd post it for anyone who might be interested here as well.

For a preview to show your not wasting your time on a triangle eye'd pumpkin I'll show you one from this years batch:

This is the link to this years batch which includes the pic above.

If you like and wanna see more, my first vid is of four years worth combined when I first started, then the next one is of last years.

    Again, enjoy:

a dremel and various drill bits and diamond burr bits.

These are FOAM pumpkins....in the oldest video the first two or three years (I forget) are real pumpkins. I grew tired of the marathon carving two days prior to halloween and more tired of seeing all my work rot and die a few days later.

Using foam pumpkins, I can work on them year around and put a ton of time in them and know they will last as long as I want to have them around. Some of this years carves I spent in excess of 15 hours (and yes, thats on more than one of them).

The sell 'funkins' at JoAnns (fabric store), but I'd highly recommend the craft pumpkins from Michaels (that is if you can find any now). They usually get pretty scarce near halloween, but if you find any, they will definitely be marked down a ton.

I have a stash I work from all year round. I've prolly got 40 or so blanks right now sitting in the other side of my basement for off season carving. Michaels wont start stocking them again post halloween again till the first week or so of August next year.

BTW, thank you all for the nice compliments on my carves. I do work hard on them, but really enjoy hearing the responses to them, so thanks much.
