I have a 05 2wd access cab and dont know what tires i can get on them.. It came with 215/70/R15 which are just way to small.. My sisters car tires are bigger...lol..Does anyone know what the biggest tire i can fit on there is with and without a lift...and also with and without new wheels..Thanks

I'm not 100% sure here, but I think you can fit 235/70's with the stock set up. You may want to double check first though. You can go to a tire website, discount or tire rack, and they'll usually show a +0 size or what your options are.

Some place someone posted that 235/75/15's made the truck look better without having to modify anything. That's what I'm putting on in a month or so when these little donuts are shot.

Sure you don't want to consider a lift? Bigger tires, especially the max size you can fit, will really fill the wheel well. It might look better with a little lift to balance it out....

ya i have been calling around to different tire shops and toyota dealers and they all tell me different things. Discount tire said i could get 275/75/15 and a used shop said 265/75/15 and goodyear said 235/70/15...and a toyota guy said probably 245/65/15..so i havent really been able to tell who is right..but anything above 245/65/15 seems unrealistic without any modifications...but i am thinking that yall sound right and that the 235 or 245 sound about right..does anyone know of some cheap lift kits i could get..maybe a 3 inch..little strapped for cash but really am tired of my truck looking so puny...my girlfriend drives a 07 2500 hd silverado with extened cab and bed and big tires..kinda imasculating..lol

Don't know about Yota but I just want a little more tire for looks.
If I wanted big and lifted I would have bought another Pre-Runner like I had in '99.
I may have to buy another in the future just for the V-6.

That sux on the tires. Post up pics after you get it all set up. I know where you are coming from with the "puny tires". I have the DC LB and it kinda looked like a grampa truck. After the lift and some new wheels I like it much better now.

Do you have a PreRunner or just a regular 2WD?

yep, if a 5 lug mini, you won't clear 33s, even with a lift... you can always go LT and push some 32s...

new body 4x4s and prerunners barely clear 33s with a 6 inch lift... can't see how a 5 lug mini would... plus, i don't recall anyone making a drop bracket lift for 5 lug mini trucks?
