push bar

I would like to install push bar,should I install frame stiffners and maybe a plate on inside of frame?weighs 40-45 lbs,also going to trim the bottom so fits bumper closer,thanks for any input

It depends just what type of things your going to be pushing if you need to reinforce the frame.

I used to run a push bar way back in the day. It was fine for knocking down small brush, getting through the occasional bump-gate that some west-texas ranchers loved to install, and gently pushing stalled vehicles off the highway. For anything bigger than that it was threatening to tweak the frame, climb into the grille, or both.
