it’s been smooth. It definitely lost some power compared to the 265-75 duratracs. Still haven’t rubbed yet. Been running 35 psi cold.

They should fit fine, biggest thing is you’re mpg is gonna take a huge hit compared to oem tire size/weight.

Best photo I have, before I washed the blue off the tires.

Just starting out, give me time
Put the psi to 35 from 40 that the installer had put them at. Much better for city driving now. S/t maxx

I would have guessed lower pressure since they’re load range E.

I can’t find any deals on these tires, they’re $250 all all over.

Yeah. They were E rated though. If my alignment didn’t get out of wack and I rotated them every 5k I could’ve gotten 100k out of them.

Okay I've ready pretty much this entire thread now and after leaning towards 255/85’s for a long time, I’m now considering 265/75’s.

From all the pictures of tacomas with 255’s, it looks like if you hit a pothole the front tire will smash into the cab mount, and it looks like there is very little space in the wheel well for upward travel when on the trails.

Someone talk me off the 265 ledge please haha

Been running them hard for 20k miles, no issues. I don't baby my junk. I will tell you that if you bottom out hard, the tires will just kiss the wells at full compression, with compressed bump stops. I really honestly believe this is the best tire for a stock Tacoma that values traction and ground clearance.

Funny, I’m in the sane boat here. I actually called a place to get the coopers tomorrow.
Then called BigO in my town and he’s telling me the skinnies might rub just going up a driveway and that I can get bfg ko2 265/75 for under $200 each with a 50k guarantee.

The coopers are going to cost me 1300 for 5 out the door. Everywhere I look they’re $250 each.

Yup. I won't say I've never rubbed, but I can tell you I haven't rubbed offroad, and only in one type of situation on road (sharp turn, hard brake/bump, with mudflaps) which is insane for a no-lift 33.

Ok so for better or worse I pulled the trigger on the coopers.
I love the way they look over the stock tires. Also the spare fit under the bed.

On the short drive home from the shop they were pretty quiet but the handling was very different, very over-responsive to steering input.

    I’m hoping it’s because they’re over inflated.
Took a while for the tpms to register but it’s showing them at 55 psi.

What psi are you guys running them at?
