Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we have a few data points showing the tire at 52.8 LBS but are seeing where Cooper shows it at 58. We have spoken with Cooper tire and confirmed this tire weighs 58lbs and will be updating our information.

This is why I ended up with the Yoko g003s. Seemed like the best bet for a 255/85 and were more affordable.

Anyone running Falken Wildpeak MT 255/85/16 tires? I have read through like 100 pages of this thread and haven't seen anyone mention them? It's my understanding they didn't offer this tire in this size until recently. I've got a set on the way to be mounted Wednesday on a stock 17 offroad.

Here are my Falkens. Got 1500 miles on them. No rubbing and pictures don’t do them Justice. They are tough looking.

Looks great! Might go this route. Haven’t seen them on Tacomas but I think Jeep puts the Falken MT’s on some models from factory. Seem like a solid price too.

So, after flipping through around 70 pages of this thread that is titled Fit 255/85/16 on Stock OR WHEELS AND SUSPENSION, I can honestly say I know why so many veterans of this forum act the way they do. About 2/3 of the posts are “If I have these wheels” or “What about XX size of tire.” It’s maddening trying to sift through the crap. I haven’t done a proper intro thread. It DOES NOT mean I’m new to this game at all. Been building and wheeling Toyotas for over 20 years. I wish Lance hadn’t sold Pirate 4x4 because of this. Noob posts clutter up an otherwise informative post. That didn’t happen there. Most of the peeps on here would not have lasted a week on the old pirate. Exactly why I loved it. Post less, read more, know what your mechanical abilities are before you clutter up an otherwise great post about 33’s fitting on a stock gen3 OR. I don’t, and won’t post much. I’m here to learn. This is a great forum full of knowledgeable people that get tired of the same rhetorical questions posted where it doesn’t belong.
sorry to sound bitchy, but Jesus, most posts I read are about the same.
To the OP: Great start to an informative thread. Too bad it got muddled up with BS. If I sift through a few more hundred pages of this thread, I might find enough info to make an informative decision.

“I wish Lance hadn’t sold Pirate 4x4“ Way to go with the name drop.
Someone on this thread once said “Post less, read more”. That was good advice.

Can anyone share their experience with running this size on 16x8 0 offset wheels on stock OR suspension?

This made me chuckle. Thanks for that.
Anyways, there might have been a little alcohol in me when I made that post.

    Looks great!
I'm replacing my 255/80/17 33" Cooper STT Max with these ~34.6". Any rubbing issues? I'm lifted 3" with zero offset wheels.
