I'd be really curious to know what the issue ends up being if you figure it out @Camel89

I think (I'll double check) that firestone got my alignment to 0 camber 0 toe and 3.something degrees caster with my stock UCA's. Or at least thats what the paper said. Drives great.

Yea, if anything I'm a little lower than stock due to the weight on the truck. Not sure if that affects it. 6112/5160s go on tomorrow though.

Ahh, that makes more sense then. I kinda forgot this thread was about stock height suspension. Hopefully you can get good alignment numbers once you throw the lift on.

I am running aftermarket wheels with them however the offset is within 2 mm of stock. 17x8 10 offset.

Yea, hoping they can squeeze out more than 2 dun-grees once the lift is in. Would have liked to get UCAs right out the gate, but after tires, wheels, leafs, coilovers, shocks...you see the way my bank account is set up...

I'm the same way. Rocking a ~3" lift in the front and was only able to get 1.56 degrees caster. Truck drives fine, but it's a little bit twitchy above 70mph.

That stinks, I guess even a tiny bit of offset can mess with things. Hope they get you squared away

Maybe call around? I'm sure you have thought of that already, but someone has to want your money.

So the original place was les schwab. And I asked them if they would retry it when the mud guard off and they refused. The only point it rubbed was full turn driver side. They tried to argue it was rubbing on metal. I told the local place I'd pay them to make it fit.

So was it rubbing on the cab mount? And does this mean the mounted it on the wheel, put it on the truck, tested to see if it rubbed, THEN refused to let you drive it away? See if you can sign a disclamer saying you won't sue them or some shit.

Sounds like a decent plan. I feel like if you call around, let the shop know in advance that you expect some clearance issues, and that you accept any/all liability for the consequences of clearance issues, you should be able to get them mounted hassle-free.

Edit: I get mine mounted in like 3 hours on SCS F5's with 25mm offset. Discount Tire. Will give them the heads up that I expect them to rub, just so they don't go breakin' mah heart.

I offered to sign a liability form and they denied me. It was mounted and only rubbed at that full turn. They told me it was the rear part of the tire and I think without the mud flaps it would have worked.

No I didn't pay anything. I walked right into the shop and had them show me where the spot was and told them this size works on these trucks. Let's work on this together. No dice. So I told them I won't pay for any of it and they took the tires off the rims. Won't get my business again.
