Stock were +25, so +1 is like a spacer...just a rub here or there when turning sharp and hitting a bump, just fender liner. I am down about 1.5 gal or so, maybe...next time I fill up I will check again, digital mpg to empty has never been right on my girl. I also dont feed her any corn , ever.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
I have 1" wheel spacers. I like the look, didn't want to shell out $1k for wheels. Wheel spacers have nothing to do with fuel mileage, tire size does.

Agree, spacers can cause potential rubbin...I went from 265/75/16, to 255/85/16, that is the difference in mileage. I was reading it as if you were asking if there is a hit on mileage from tires, not spacers...love my taco, so gas mileage isnt a thing

Sorry I know it’s an old post but on your second pic it seems like there is a dark spot on the UCA and possibly a rub mark? Just want to make sure before I pull the trigger on some skinnies

multiply your miles by 1.06 to get an accurate total miles before dividing by gallons used.

also a quick reference for speedo, up to about 45 mph indicated actual is about 2 mph faster, then up to about 75 it's 3 mph faster above that does it really matter.

Finally pulled the trigger on 255/85 KM3's and am very happy with how they handle daily driving and wet roads, averaging 18mpg. Stock Off Road suspension with minor trimming of the plastic.

Just put 5100's all around, top notch in front, 1" block in rear:anonymous:...many say lift don't do anything with rubbing, but now, have NO rubbing anywhere

I'm about to pull the trigger on some Falken Wildpeak AT/4's in 255/85/16 on my stock OR rims, with plan to do UCAs and 2 inch lift later since it seems like these pizza cutters are fitting just fine.

However, after reading almost all of this thread I curious if anyone has a picture of the Falken stuffed and at lock either direction up front. Just curious how bad / close the clearance is with stock suspension and if I'll be happy waiting through the winter to do the suspension lift and UCAs.

you’ll rub just a tad at certain angles and worse over bumps, nothing a minor trim doesn’t solve

Ive got trd OR on 2"lift bilstein +ome lift, I'm wondering do I need to get spacer for 255/85/16? Or it will be OK on stock OR rims?

It's not 255/85/16 but this is my 255/80/17 mounted on Method 701 17x8.5 wheels (0 offset).

Dropped a strut and stuffed it, should clear the cab mount but a little cutting is needed. Didn't take a picture of it but it does rub on the fender liner at the front as well near the top. Don't know about the full front of a stock bumper since I have mine chopped up with a Greenlane bumper.

Another strange newbie question switching from 265/70/16 to 255/85/16 same rims, same offset - do I need another wheel alignment (last was made a month ago with suspension upgrade)? I heard that when you are moving to wider tires you need but no info about pizza cutters

What are the specs on your whees? I'm running 16x8 0 offset. Just curious if this would work for me. I also have 1.4" of lift up front.

Done. Confirming no rubbing at all. Need to mention - rims are stock, suspension - NOT
