I am going to trade my 08 4x4 taco in for a 2010 TRD off road and honestly I am torn on this color. I can't decide if I love this color or hate it. I swear this color, which makes it very cool, looks totally different in every kind of light. I looked at it on the dealer lot and loved it. Saw it again on another larger vehicle and hated it. Saw it again on another taco and loved it again. Ive never been a fan of brown but would hardly call this a brown color. Seems to be a brown gold green whatever. So is this the coolest cameleon color out there or what. If I don't go mica I might just go magnetic gray. Seems kind of boring now. What do ya all think.:)

I got the pryite color! It looks good when it is clean, but it is hard to keep that way in my area. It takes on a green tint when in a green background, brown in a brown background and grey when its cloudy. I would have gotten the green if toyota had a somewhat lighter shade of green. Overall I have no regrets on the color.

that was my first choice for color when I began shopping. Unfortunately it also seems to be the least common color, and coupled with the relative rarity of the 4cyl, 2wd access cab I wanted and I was outa luck - got Timberland Mica instead, which is OK...

my last truck was "champagne" kinda darker than gold on the F150 hate it lol.

If I were to choose again, I would not go with a metallic color.
It's hard to match when paint damage occurs.

but I like my silver :p

New member here. I just purchased my PreRunner 4X2 Double Cab w/TRD Package in Pyrite Mica (PM) yesterday. I was really leaning towards the Magnetic Grey but, when I saw the color of PM in the sun the other day, I was sold.

Toyota's website doesn't do this color justice IMHO.
