I would definitely get a diff. Drop if i were you before your Cv joints go again. Their like 25$ and it takes longer to get the skid plates off then it does to install one. And definitely do the deck plate mod! Its like 6-9 Hp + a noticeable sound change for 20$!

i don't think the deck plate adds any hp really, but throttle response is a bit better.

and i second the diff drop, they don't help THAT much, but they help a bit. Boot slide mod is the best for saving cvs.

with those you'll have lots of rake haha you need like 3 or more inches of lift up front..so basically the Eibachs..

I have the deckplate and all the required materials sitting in my garage... just need to find the time to install.

Love 'em. They do great in the snow and ice. Couldn't be happier.

Love them too. Pretty stiff, but I recently threw in another 160 lbs of sandbags in the bed, and it helps with the ride a ton. I currently have 400 lbs in the bed, and they barely settled at all. Its gonna be great for hauling firewood, hunting and camping gear this summer.

Yeah I love the rake. Had a guy stop me in Sherwin Williams the other day asking me about my lift for his buddies truck, he said that they'd seen me driving around town a bunch of times wondering what my suspension components were, he said he liked the rake and wanted it on his truck. I think it looks more aggressive and more "truck-like."

Wow... I haven't been on in a long time. School has been beyond crazy, and I just haven't had time. But I guess I better post an update.

I recently did a huge mod, or shall I call it an "anti-mod". It's called the Engagement Ring mod:

    IMG_2138_cbceba96b85f539dd1a924aba02f0685fe48bb2e.jpg

Maybe by this summer I'll have enough money to go to Moab still and do a few more mods.

Also, I just got a pair of Trail Gear/Addicted Offroad sliders!!! :yay: :woot:. Thanks Jonathan, you're the best! I'll post pics later.

I'm debating on how to paint them. I think I'm going to prep, prime and then paint with Rustoleum Hammered Black. I'm not sure what to use to clean them or prime with, so any suggestions will help. I'm going to paint them first and have them welded on next week.

    :woot:

    Great to hear!

    and gee...what a suprise!! :D

as for the paint, Rustoleum Hammered is still paint, so yes you shoud do some primer. Id skip the clear coat tho as you'll just be doing touch ups anyways.

i bet 2-3 coats primer 4-6 coats of paint would do just fine.
