I have SR envy. The storage pocked they get would be killer.

Just had mine replaced under warranty. I noticed that OP has the aftermarket liner. I think that may be a contributing factor. I don't use my charger and my truck has endured hotter days before I added those liners to my truck, but it happened after I added them.

You're not missing out. I tried to use it the first weekend I had my '21 with my S20+ and all it did was make my phone super hot and the battery charge to drop lol.

Biggest let down I've had with this truck so far.

Panini press/sandwich maker. I'm sure you have some lights that are hot enough.

I have the same issue. I brought it up at my truck's last service and it showed on the maintenance document as an item they looked at, but they didn't actually fix it; I forgot to ask about it before leaving, so next time the truck is in I'll make them fix it under the TSB that was linked earlier in this thread. Reading the PDF for the TSB, I do find it funny that it basically is just putting in an entire new charger assembly - it neither details how to actually access it for removal, nor does the TSB actually seem to involve fixing anything (unless they are maybe using new units that are fixed to not have the issue anymore).

TBH I can't even use the Qi charger with my current phone and wouldn't even if I could since it isn't efficient and really heats phones up. I'm considering just removing it if I have the center dash open for anything else, then replacing the port with a couple USBs and the charger pad with the deeper cubby from a lower trim (on the SR5 I drive for work I found that cubby is a perfect fit for placing my auxiliary power brick and jump starter while it recharges from the 12V port).

I'd take the extra space that the removal would allow. My first thought when using it was that it'd be great. . .until I saw how freaking slow it was.

I've used this one a couple times as a jump starter and many more times for recharging my phone and other USB stuff. Nice to have so you can start yourself if the battery is flat, or to jump someone else if you don't want to hook your own vehicle up or can't maneuver close enough to use jumper cables
