Quality difference between Mexico and USA

Turns out it is still a boat. We were both wrong.

 

When I was in month three of the 3rd gen rear end recall, my neighbor who still has his 83 4X4 asked where my truck was made? I said, Texas, he replied, "well there's your problem, should have bought a Japanese truck!"

 

For the record, all tacos are better in Mexico. Even the mystery meat ones.

I've eaten street food in Beijing, Xi'an, and Taipei. I've probably had worse.

The difference in quality is a few hundred miles.

"Quality of life" difference between Mexico and USA....

 

I believe the most 'awarded' assembly plant in the industry is Toyota Cambridge, Ontario.

 

I can't support my family for $1.60 an hour here in CA, but if I lived in Calcutta or Laos, I certainly could.

 

Whats ironic is Toyota built the Tacoma brand on the backs on mostly blue collar workers who got screwed the most .NAFTA was a big slap in the face to the workers who built this country.

NAFTA was packaged and paid for by corporate lobbyists at the time knowing it would only benefit wall street banks and large insider stockholders. What a disgrace to run across the border to exploit third world wages then turn around and sell your product to the U.S workers who lost jobs and wage growth. This model is not sustainable over the long run.

 

haven't all companies and products doing that? From TVS to Cars, from Toyota to Fords ?

 

Wanted to really put my money where my mouth is. Bought another 2018 today. My 2017 is TX, so wanted a 2018 Mexico to compare myself. Sadly my 2018 is TX too
