it will help reduce vibrations as well as wear. I'd do it. It would be kinda silly not to. its only like $25

Diff drops are pointless on 2nd gens. Don't waste your time.

Yes it does more on a 1st gen because the truck is narrower. But it definitely does good on a 2nd gen. It reduces the angle the cv axle is at, returning it closer to stock, how could that be bad and useless?

No it doesn't. That's why they're useless. And it's bad because it decreases clearance to do that nothing.

    Here's some free education:

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/118545-remove-differential-drop-your-05-tacoma.html

    And specifically:

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2n...ential-drop-your-05-tacoma-7.html#post2291055

I wish a mod would sticky that thread so people would quit asking about these pieces of shit.

Yeah..go ask mjp2 what happened with his diff drop and the decreased clearance lol..anyways it has been proven on a thread but I think at another forum the diff drop for the 2nd Gen is useless..the half shaft angle moved less then 1/4° that was measured using a digital angle finder as opposed to having no spacer at all.

They actually matter on 1st gens. The diff mounts differently.

:DOp has a prerunner so he does not have a diff to drop anyway.
