I am looking to get either a foldaCover or a Undercover for my 06 tacoma. My question is does anyone have or know if the FoldaCover will lock the tailgate? Thanks

Not sure about the foldacover but I know a number of members here have the undercover and really like it.

Fold a cover generally makes some provision to latch the tailgate. However I would recommend the undercover for various reasons. Durability, weather tight, and the fold a cover is going to take up about a third of your bed before having to remove it anyway. Just my opinion anyway.

Yeah, I have been leaning toward the undercover but was worried about needing my bed when I had it on. I think I would almost always know when I would need it off but then again maybe not. What do you think? Has anyone run into problems of needing their undercover off but having it on?

it probably would'nt happen often. With the fold a cover you will have 4ft of space with the 6ft bed and if you have the shorter whats the point you will have to take it off anyway.
