I have an 07 Double Cab TRD Offroad. The last 2 months I have noticed really bad squeaky noise coming form the rear, as well as when I put my boat on the hitch the rear will drop about 3 inches.

The dealership is telling me that the TSB for replacing the rear springs is no longer valid, and actually showed me on his computer where the system said as much. All they will do is put some pads on the springs to stop the noise.

    Does this sound about right?

Are you still under the 3 year 36K warranty? If not, you are out of luck.

If you are, they dealer is full of shit about the leaf spring TSB being "invalid". Got mine done 2 weeks ago.

I'd try another dealer. I have the extended warranty as well. Mine had 40k when I got it done.

This is the second thread this week with someone getting denied the TSB on the extended warranty. Good luck to you.
