Ok I have a chance to get some new wheels for my 05 tacoma pre-runner

In 05 Toyota didn't have TPM system on the tacoma

The wheels I wanna buy say TPM compatible

My question is if I don't have TPMS on my oem wheels will the wheels that say they have TPMS still work?

Thanks for any info..
