Ok. I've been reading online and I'm trying to decide which size tires I want to buy. I like the look of the 285/75/16 but I've heard that the give you crappy gas mileage. I'm not a real extreme offroader so it wouldn't really benefit me to get them. It would only be for the looks. If the gas mileage is true about the tires and the cons outweigh the pros, I'll prolly go with 265/75/16.

Can yall guys tell me the pros and cons of going with the 285/75/16.?

The 285s are taller thus giving you more ground clearance and there also wider thus giving a little better traction in some cases and they look cooler...

You need a lift for anything taller (or maybe also wider) than 265/75-16 to not have any rubbing...

Yeah. Would a 3'' lift be enough lift to fit them with some trimming.?

You'll need wheels with a greater back spacing and off set aswell or wheel spacers. 285s will rub on the UCAs

4.5" Back Spacing with 0 Off Set is Ideal

Really don't have money for wheels. So I guess that answers my question. Probably going with 265/75/16. Thanks Colt and David.!
