I'm 6'4", 35" inseam and no problems when driving. Hit a couple speed bumps the other day accidentally doing around 35 and head never hit the roof, although I can touch the roof a little bit if I lean left towards the door. I have the Dual Cab with tech package.

At 6'8" and 370lbs I am used to reclining my seat a touch to keep my headroom. Tacomas are not bad for headroom however it was one of many make or break moments when I went to look at the 3rd gen.
As an idea you could order with the moonroof and if your bothered by it you can get a piece of acrylic put in with the regular headliner unit and a slider cover. This would be done by a reputable mod or body shop.

6'2" built like a t-rex, long legs, tiny arms - This was my main concern with the Tacoma, especially since I drive "up on the wheel", my head hit when I was wearing a baseball hat, without it I was fine. Like anything else, I am sure there's a work around, I will advise once I get my rig. Funny story, I just got rid of a Tundra, where my girlfriends feet didn't touch the ground. HAHA she's 5'2", she is stoked on the Tacoma, cause her feet touch the ground. Go figure.

I'm actually more comfortable with the ballcap, b/c the hair is held down. I don't have long hair. Short, actually. Short enough it stands by itself when I cut too short. Either way though, the fit is fine. I don't recline much either. It is no worse than the car.

Am glad Steves104x4 enjoys the freakshow!
In seriousness, height sort of sucks. Everyone sees the top shelf but forgets the bottom. And good luck with shoes, clothes, bicycles, occasionally vehicles but definitely vehicles 30 years ago, etc.

I have the same issue, 6'3" and long torso. My issue is getting in and out of the door and not straining my neck bending it to make it in and out. Looking for a solution to get 1-1.5" lower seat hight . That would make a huge difference.

6'4" and I fit pretty good in my '13 TRD Sport, but many of these '16's have moonroof's and I'm not sure that would work. I don't like my hair rubbing around on the roof liner.

6"3 hit my head the first time today, but otherwise I just hate how high the seat is.

I was pleased to find the dual pivots on the mirror allow it to be forced upward closer to the roof liner while still being usefull. I may need a relocation bracket.

In two years I'll still likely buy a double cab tacoma unless they have a new generation 4runner with more than 5 gears.

I'm 6'3" and have been on a couple long test drives in a loaded TRD OR with the moonroof. No problems on my end.
If I move to the left and keep my head right next to the window it will bump the ceiling on that little part that comes down but if I sit centered in the seat, there's no problem.
I always drive with the seat leaning back a little anyway. It's uncomfortable for me to sit straight up.

I guess I should state that my hair is about 1/8" long. The old trimmer hair cut.
So, my head can get pretty close to the headliner without any issues.

I'm 6'4(+) and sat in a tacoma with a moonroof today. It was fine, though my Gen 2 definitely has more headroom. I went ahead and ordered one with the moonroof.

6'1" with sunroof, no real issues with headroom. Where's this thread on lowering the seat? would help with visibility I feel like

I'm 6'1" and never hit my head, 5000 miles in, so it is definitely a 6'2" and above issue!

I'm 6, I find myself wanting more headroom, but its not terrible. Had to double pivot my mirror up and away.

Also I find I sit too far from the steering wheel to drive with the my on top of the wheel.
