I honestly think they look alright. Clean with a a little style. Really I wished they would spec the TRD O/R with the appropriate sized Nitto Terra Grapplers.

And THAT is the reason I took the photo. I wanted to get some research and reccos on them. They look like a good blend tire.

I've owned a set of Terra Grappler G2's on my last Taco and they were respectable tires. I would buy them again possibly if I don't get the K02's which I've owned several sets in the past .

They are adding the TSS package to SR double cabs here. They look cool but the package costs $3,995 USD. Ends up being pricey for an SR.

I’m confused by the sentiment... they remove stuff and add two stickers, running boards, different wheels, and it looks cool? Anyone could do the same - buy an SR I4 2wd and add the rest for under $600... but I doubt they would get a “cool truck bro” from same. Save the money, buy an SR and make it your own.

The no flares with wheels offset out a bit seems like a recipe for lots of rock chips in the wheel well area. That is the nice thing about the flares, even up here in The saltbelt you don’t see rusted Tacoma wheel wells or bedsides. On similaryear Didges and Chevy’s they are bubbling up around the wheel well. Likely not a big issue down south.

Mine is a 2018 and it's a V6 4wd with the tow haul package. Also the dealer had it discounted to where it was less than the SR5's they had on the lot, between the better rims and tires than the SR5 and the discount they had on it I felt like it wasn't a bad purchase.

Yep... the original TSS from Gen2 and pre 2019 Gen 3 were a bit different. If the money is right, they can be great buys. It is clearly a package made for dealer profits (thus the "only in GST" territory, or for the XP, in SET territory). The SET ones can also have another wheel that looks somewhat similar.

Has anyone lifted this truck and put 285/70/17's on these wheels or did you have to change wheels for them to not rub. Got an OME lift that just got delivered and hoping these will work for that setup, but if not I guess I will change them out or just go with 265/70/17's. Just curious.

I've been using the skinny 33" 255/80/17's on mine with stock suspension, and have had no rub whatsoever at full tuck. But it looks like any wider size tire would rub.
