question on u bolts

    Billies set @ 1.75 BHLM, Fog light mod, 2 Hella 500ff's behind front grill. ddm 35w 5000 headlights and 35 w 4500 fog lights Grillcraft mx upper and lowers
    Just wondering if i need longer u bolts when i do an aal? I have the 3 spring w/out tsb. The aal's will be 2 inches. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    yea you will...make sure they fit correctly. Installed my aal and 3 of the 4 fit...aka road block

    Electric Dynolock tailgate, TrailGear Slides, , 285/75-16 Yoko Geolanders on Wheelers Type B, SAW 2.0 front and back, Camburg b/j UCA, 1.5" AAL, Ubolt flip, ARB bump.
    You might be able to re-use them but it is recommended to use new bolts. As long as the threads aren't mangled on your current U-bolts I'd probably reuse them. But then again it would suck to put on the AAL only to find your Ubolts are too short.

    i just used the same u-bolts. theres only one thread showing though, but i dont mind.

    I'd highly recommend using new u-bolts.

    If you use the original u-bolts, you should check them regularly to make sure they're staying tight. Used ubolts don't always stay tight like new ones do. If you don't check them, they can cause more damage in the long run (broken centerin pins, & leaf pak coming loose).
