So yesterday I had my windows tinted finally on my Taco. Its an access cab so I got 5% on the rear and ac, with 20% on the driver and passenger side windows.

My truck is black and it looks DARK as hell. I was wondering if anyone out here in So Cal has the same tinting or close and have you been pulled over for it?

Maybe post a few pics to ease my mind :D. Thanks guys

    20% Tint on all windows
I just got pulled over on the 15 just south of Miramar road the other day for the same thing. Mine are tinted 20% all around and he told me my windows were too dark. He did let me off the hook due to the fact that I'm in the service and my truck is registered in North Carolina. So yeah, they will pull you for it...

    Too few to list.
It would really depend on the officer. I've known people with super dark tints with having stories about the being next to cops and no pull overs. Having front tint is a reason for them to check you out.

Black out emblems. TRD Pro grille.
I have 30% in front windows and 15% in back over the factory tint which makes it almost limo (5%)
Like stated above. CHP is a little more stricter.

This is my tint, Luckily i have not been pulled yet (knock on wood). But I've been all over riverside county S/B county highway and city, just dont add any extra suspicion to your driving (main example: texting) Good luck though.

He didn't write me a ticket thankfully. He thanked me for my service and told me to have a nice day. Dodged that bullet...
