Been researching a dual battery set up for camping adventure and have a few questions about equipment and set up. Read some threads and watch videos, but appreciate technology and option may have progressed since these were made.

    • Current set up: Bluetooth eb70s power station
    • Proposed set up: 100ah battery and dc-dc charger behind passenger seat. Renogy Dc-dc charger wired to 100w solar panel on roof and to starter battery. Bluetooth module for monitoring.
    • Is there different (better) options now available?
Main challenge I’m trying to solve is better charging capabilities and power options. The eb70s only provides 60w charging when using 12v outlet and even with upgrades will only get 160w (200w max)

I dunno those power stations seem to work swell for me. I use the Jackery 1000 Pro to power my Dometic.
It sits in the foot-well and is constantly charged via 12v while driving thanks to a 12v connection in the rear cubby.
Notched out a small piece for the cable. When not driving I can always run the solar panel option for recharging it works swell too.

Plus you can just take this 'stuff' out and use it around the house to power lamps etc if you lose electricity.
I use the Dometic for 'over-flow-holiday' food and will use it when I clean out the lower shelf of the fridge while I dry-brine my turkey
which will go on the grill.... it's the only way to cook a turkey folks.... trust me.

We can easily go 3-4-5 days on this setup. The Dometic is boss and keeps foods very cold and fresh.

I use this in the little camper to power lights and my CPAP via 12V.
