I'll be putting navigation in my truck once I gather the parts.

Is the outside temp displayed on the screen or in the rear view mirror?
Is the clock now shown on the radio display?
What year did Toyota move the clock from the spot near the hazard switch to the radio?

    Thank you.

2014 had the clock by the hazard switch. In 2015, it was removed and displays in the radio. Because I put a 2015 navigation radio in my 2014, I have both clocks.

I do not have the temperature sensor.

Serious question. Why not just use your phone? Substantially cheaper.

My 2013 has the clock near the hazard switch.

I have a 2015 nav unit in my 2007. The temp/weather on screen isn't a true temp reading. Its downloaded from the internet over the hd radio using your nav location. The clock only displays if you have the nav antenna hooked up.

Clock, weather, traffic and nav will only work once the sat/nav antenna is hooked up. If you don't want to drop coin on the toyota antenna, you can use a cheap one from eBay/Amazon.

I didnt want to eat up my data on my cellphone plan, pkus alot of places i go, there is no cellphone signal.

I didnt put a factory one in, just and aftermarket, but that was my reasoning behind it.

I have the same but added a Gentex autodim/Homelink/temp mirror so now I have 2 clocks, 1 live temp readout and 1 weather forecast.
