quick ??? Axle Shims Instalation

    i am planing on installing 3' axle shims tomm...
    question #1 ...the thin part faces foward right" i know dumb ?"
    but i wana make sure
    anyone know of any auto parts stores that seel the u bolts we need all i have found was the round top bolts at pep boys
    any other tips would be app. thanks
    p.s. they are toyotech axle shims

    someone will correct me if i am wrong, but i believe the thick part goes to the rear, putting the dif more in-line with the drive shaft. as for the ubolts, the only place i could find them (other than online) was at a trailer supply store.

    correct. fat part goes to the rear and trailer store will have the u-bolts.
