A new bolt here, a new bolt there, a new bolt everywhere.
No not really...90% of the people were I live will happily drive by you with there actual high beams on and only flash them when they are the victims of being blinded. I used to be like you carrying and a bleeding heart for all those others till one day I got sick of being blinded by people running their high beams. I couldn't even drive to the store 5 blocks down the road without running into somebody running their high beams. So, like the saying goes if you can't beat them, join them. Except I decided to fry their retinas in the process. Yes, I'm an asshole, but I was kind enough to lower them now to where only my high beams cook your retinas. Unless your driving a really low car most cars don't get light past their hood now.

And this is what I was talking about. Here at work and while going to go get my guys dinner 2 miles down the road and ran into this while in my work truck. Be aware that this is through tinted windows.20161104_193359.jpg

100% you don't have to remove anything.

HID's CAN be cheaper than some LEDs, depending on what setup you got. I went with Diode Dynamics Relay Harness, Hylux A2088 Ballasts and 4300k CNLight ball bulbs which all said and done cost me 120 shipped and I guarantee has better throw than the best LED available. It's more complex wiring and requires a bit more ingenuity to install cleanly, but at the end of the day, it's about getting more visible light on the road.

I don't think people are flashing you because "they can't believe low beams are that bright". They're flashing you because you're blinding them.

This is the kind of stuff that gives the rest of the HID retrofit community a bad name.

This was taken on a short trip to the store from my office in the my company truck(no hid) . I used to care, but after enough of these assholes you start to say "Fuck it, if can't beat them I'll join them". I literally can drive more than 2miles with it out running into someone with their highbeams on. If you read further you can see I have since lowered the beam to compensate for the brightness, but believe me I am thinking of cranking it back up.

    P. S that's a tinted window
